How Cellinity  is Different

AdobeStock_594968766.jpeg

Cellinity uses liquid sodium electrolyte technology, allowing the charging and discharging of electrodes an unlimited number of times. No ions transfer between electrodes, and no dendrites can form.

Cellinity uses common, domestically sourced materials like sodium, aluminum, and sulfur - no rare earth metals, and no toxic components.

The battery cell has a sealed, non-venting design, and it not capable of thermal runaway or explosion, unlike lithium-ion batteries.

Safer

Cellinity is safer than lithium-ion batteries because it cannot undergo thermal runaway, and it cannot form dendrites, meaning it won't cause fires or explosions. It's also safer for the environment. Its components and materials are all non-toxic and environmentally friendly, and they aren't associated with damaging mining practices.

Longer Lasting

Unlike lithium-ion batteries, the performance and capacity of Cellinity batteries don't degrade or decrease over time. Our batteries are designed to last at least 20 years before replacement, enabling more affordable and consistent energy storage for renewable energy projects and grid resiliency.

No performance decrease after thousands of cycles

Due to their unique liquid sodium chemistry, Cellinity batteries can last an unlimited number of charge and discharge cycles without significant decrease in performance.

Domestically sourced materials
and components

Cellinity batteries are made with common, earth-abundant materials that can all be sourced domestically in the USA.
